The European market of cars in April has shown sharp growth


The sales volume of cars in the countries of the Europe, including new members of European union (EU), for April, 2008 has increased for 9,6 % in comparison with April, 2007 and 1 million 420 thousand 944 units has made. On it it is informed in the report of the European association of motor-car manufacturers published today (ACEA).
–ост sales in April, 2008 following motor-car manufacturers have shown:

Mazda 21 thousand 978 (26,5 %),
BMW (BMW, MINI) 80 thousand 295 (24,7 %),
Nissan 29 thousand 822 (18,6 %),
Daimler (Mercedes-Benz, Smart) 79 thousand 660 (17,6 %),
Volkswagen (Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda) 293 thousand 567 (11,4 %),
Hyundai 25 thousand 289 (11,2 %),
Mitsubishi 11 thousand 227 (11,0 %),
Fiat (FIAT, Alfa Romeo, Lancia) 115 thousand 509 (8,5 %),
Ford (Ford, Volvo, Land Rover, Jaguar) 141 thousand 488 (7,8 %),
PSA Peugeot Citroen 183 thousand 229 (6,8 %),
General Motors (Opel, Chevrolet, Vauxhall, Saab, Cadillac) 135 thousand 587 (6,3 %),
Kia 20 thousand 590 (5,9 %),
Renault (Renault, Dacia) 127 thousand 263 (4,8 %),
Suzuki 23 thousand 503 (4,5 %).

Decrease in sales in April, 2008 was shown with following motor-car manufacturers:

Honda – 22 thousand 941 (-8,6 %),
Chrysler – 9 thousand 190 (-3,6 %),
Toyota Group (Toyota, Lexus) – 74 thousand 884 (-1,7 %).

Besides for the specified period in the Europe 923 cars of other manufacturers (74,7 % by April, 2007) have been realized 24 thousand.
